Tumblring after the California Dream RSS

A Tumbled Account of My Constant Search for the California Dream. at times it may not seem that these mundane pictures of my life in a suburban concrete waste-land have anything to do with chasing the endless possibilities for freedom, beauty and radical self expression that this Golden State has to offer. but remember. reality is a complicated one, and it is not as straightforward as we might think.

What is that? A mu-fuggin Mausin Negat? The obnly reason why the general public should be shit scared is because their perception of danger has been so ape-shit warped that they can’t identify it. I swear to you that nobody is going to be assaulted within a direct line-of-sight of anyone carrying that. +3 points if it has a bayonet mounted or built in as a “fold out”
I am with Neptune on this one. I believe that being shit-scared of a man in an elevator with a gun and no badge is an appropriate reaction. Furthermore I argue that it is not the public’s perception of danger, but yours that by the institutionalized violence of war has been warped and trivialized. Guns kill. Disregarding that simple fact puts people in the hospital and in the ground. Not feeling fear because of the specific model of that gun is a poor judgment given the other defining variables of the situation e.g. this man is not a cop and his finger is in the trigger-gaurd.
