As much as we all love the “Qualp” sound that jumps out of Mac OS X with each volume adjustment, it gets old, and often is redundant because of the sound in the background you are adjusting. Hold Shift to silently adjust your volume. Also fine-tune your level in 1/4 units with the Opt+Shift modifier. Now get back to enjoying Snow Leopard…..
